As the Beijing Olympic Games get closer, more and more people join in sports. Our school is no exception. In order to welcome the Beijing Olympics, our school will hold a sports meet on 10, June.
It will include the junior middle school students’ team, the high school students’ team and the teachers’ team. The junior middle school students’ track and field races will include the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash and 400-meter relay race. Besides, they will also have the high jump and long jump and shuttlecock kicking competitions. Compared with junior high students’ team, the teachers’ team will not have the shuttlecock kicking competition; instead, they will have the 800-meter race and tug of war. However, it is the senior high students’ team that will have the most competitions. They will have the shot put and 3,000-meter race, which the other two teams don’t have.
