Only three dogs have been awarded a star on the Hollywood Wakl of Fame- Lassie,Rin Tin Tin and Srrongheart.Few people nowdays kown who strongheart was,but in his day the German Shepherd was famous as the other two,and helped pave the way for the success of Rin Tin Tin.

Lassie has been going strong for over 60 years now,appearing in films,radio and TV shows and having been played by a succession of Rough Collies who are always male,as they tend to be larger and apparently have more screen presence then the famales.The first film,based on a novel by Eric Knight,appeared in 1943 with Elizabeth Taylor and Roddy McDowell acting alongside Palthe dog in his first starring role as lassie.He very nearly wasn’t chosen;trainer Rudd Weatherwax was convinced that he had what it took to make the part his own,but the studio bosses thought otherwise and selected a morn glamorous looking show dog instead.Pal was retained only as a stunt dog; but his services were called upon almost immediately when the original dog refuesd to go near a river he was supposed to swim across.Pal not only jumped into the river,but after swimming across and reaching the other side proceeded to do such a good acting job that he was hired on the spot as the new leading ‘lady’.Since then,nice generations of “lassie” descendants have appeared in the films and TV series.

Toto,the Cairn Terrier was played by a female called terry in the 1939film The wizard of Oz.Five-year-old Terry was paid a weekly wage of $125,whic was considerably more than many of the human actors earned.

只有3只狗在好莱坞的星光大道被授予了明星的名誉.莱丝,林婷婷(音译)和SRRONGHEART(饶了我吧,实在不知名字怎么翻-_-),现在只有少数人知道SRRONGHEART是什么,但是在他的日子里(实在不知道楼主想说什么) 这只德国牧羊犬跟其他两只狗一样的出名,而且为林婷婷在成功的道路上铺上了砖.
