A glance at the sheer variety of names and prices on our transfer speculation pages tells you the tabloids notoriously get it wrong when predicting United’s next signing.But,occasionally,they get it right.
Over the last few months there have been several names continuously linked with a move to Manchester,and we want your expert opinion on whether each of the usual suspects would be a good purchase.
First up,we look at Lyon's 24-year-old defensive midfielder,Mahamadou Diarra,who has been widely tipped as one of Sir Alex’s summer targets.
On April 5,The Sun claimed:“Sir Alex looks set to step up his interest in the player touted as the next Roy Keane.Diarra,24,is one valued at £20million.”
On May 10,the same paper added:"Ferguson's hopes of landing Mahamadou Diarra have been boosted with Real Madrid pulling out of the race for the £25m-rated Lyon star."
