The bird stands on the branch,sings to the tree everyday.So the tree,listens to the bird to sing everyday.The day passes by day-by-day,the cold winter had arrived.The bird must leave the tree,flies the far .The tree said to the bird ;Goodbye,the little bird!Next year spring will ask you to come back,but also will sing to me .The bird said ;OK,next spring I will come back,and sing to you.Please be waiting for me!Flying to the south.Spring came.On in wilderness,the forest snow all melted.The bird returns here,asked her the good friend tree to come.But,the tree disappears,is only left over the tree root to keep there.;Stands in here that tree,what place has gone to?;The bird asks the tree root.Tree root reply:The logging person cut down with the axe ,pulls goes to the mountain valley .The bird flies to the mountain valley .
In the mountain valley has a very big factory,seeing the wood the sound"Sha Sha..|; is making a sound.The bird falls on the factory front door.She asks the front door:Gate gentleman,do you know where is my good friend tree The front door replied:Is the tree?It has been for slivers tall and slender in the factory,made the matches,transported to sell out in that side village
The bird flies to the village
Nearby a kerosene lamp,sits a little girl.The bird asks the girl:Excuse me,please tell me,where is the matches
The little girl replied:The matches already used up.But the matches light fire,is also shining in this lamp.
The bird stared at the lights with big eyes.
Then she sings last year has sung the song to the lights
